The Ostomy Association of SA is a Not-for-Profit association run by its members for members. OASA is a registered charity. Volunteers give their time to ensure members receive stoma care pouches and pharmaceutical items, approved by the Stoma Appliance Scheme (SAS) in a timely manner and by the provision of support services and information
The annual membership (Access) fee and administration fee in addition to a small payment from the Australian Government of 2.75% of the cost of the products we dispense helps us cover costs to maintain the building, pay power, phone and water bills, stationery as well as our stomal therapy nurse and much more.
The Ostomy Association of SA employs 3 staff to run the office and warehouse, otherwise volunteers assist with unpacking deliveries, packing orders and manning the front counter.
To provide additional services that benefit all members such as welcome tea and coffee, replacing damaged furniture, updating information packages plus updating the website we all rely on donations
Any amount big or small is welcomed and is fully tax deductable.
